GYMNEMA SILVESTRE (gymne)

First proved by Lt. Col. R.N. Chopra, the plant belongs to Asclepiadaceae family. Called by other names such as Mesha-shringa (Rain's horn); Chhotadudhilata, Shirn-kuranja and Kavali, it is a great 'sugar-killer'-excellent medicine for diabetes mellitus, also efficacious in poisonous snake-bites.

Urinary

Profuse urination loaded with sugar. After passage of wine patient exclaims, this passing of urine in large quantities has made me very weak. Colour: white; Quantity: copious; Specilic gravity: high.

Skin

Burning all over the body; diabetic carbuncle.

Tongue

Great thirst.

Sexual System

Weakness of sexual power.
